Zhu Zhihong, Secretary of Liuhe District Committee, made a speech at the conference. The development of Liuhe can not be separated from science and technology innovation, in the current economic situation, we have to follow the pace of Nanjing's construction of a famous city of innovation with global influence, seize the "bull nose" of science and technology innovation, carry out in-depth benchmarking activities to find the difference, learn from Liyang's excellent innovation practices, and promote high-quality development. He pointed out that we should look at Liuhe outside of Liuhe, make full use of Nanjing's advantages in science and education resources, and give full play to the location advantages of Jiangbei New Area as a sub-central city, and push forward the project of "two landings and one integration".
Zhou Junqiang, Minister of Organization Department of Liuhe District Party Committee, read out the commendation list of 2017 Liuhe Science and Technology Innovation Conference. 7 engineering technology research centers above municipal level, 8 high-tech enterprises (including Jiangsu Zhongshi Electronics Co., Ltd.), 2 municipal innovative entrepreneurs, 5 municipal high-level entrepreneurial talents were commended.
Finally, Dai Huajie, the mayor of Liuhe District, asked all relevant departments and units to strengthen the leadership, unify the understanding, put science and technology innovation in an important position, the main leader should personally ask questions, and all functional departments should dare to take responsibility for the reform of science and technology system, and strive to create a good business environment and build a first-class innovation ecology. He called on the region's science and technology enterprises and the vast number of science and technology workers to concentrate and innovation for the construction of Nanjing's innovation city to make positive contributions.
